RIL reports 12% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Reliance Industries (RIL) has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2017.

The company has reported a rise of 12.79% in its net profit at Rs 8,151 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 7,227 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 34.86% at Rs 75,969 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 56,330 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 12.26% in its consolidated net profit at Rs 8,046 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 7,167 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY16. Total consolidated income from operations of the company rose 43.78% at Rs 94,825 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 65,950 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2017, the company has posted a rise of 14.76% in its net profit at Rs 31,425 crore as compared to Rs 27,384 crore in FY16. Total income of company increased 5.67% at Rs 2,73,750 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 2,59,062 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.

For the year ended March 31, 2017, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted marginal rise of 0.52% in its net profit at Rs 29,901 crore as compared to Rs 29,745 crore in the previous year. Total income from operations of company has increased by 12.92% at Rs 3,39,623 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3,00,777 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.
