Parry Nutraceuticals, a division of E.I.D. Parry and part of the Murugappa Group has received the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) approval for its Indian facility for organic microalgae cultivation and processing. The fully organic, 130 acres – 600 TPA facility, located in Oonaiyur, Pudukottai district, Tamil Nadu, has received the Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) from the USFDA following an inspection of the facility in July 2016.
Parry Nutraceuticals is also stepping up its new product development efforts to meet increasing customer demand for value-added products based on microalgae.
